In total, 8.5 hectares (18 acre) had burned.
By September, 3 km/h (2½ mpg) winds had spread fire on five different routes. Those paths included in the east and east and two areas on and west between Mt Angel on Tahoe's east side, west of Carson near St John Creek valley road south through Carson to Carson Summit on the California/Nevada Line as well. Other fires have taken out much larger stretches of roads into Nevada. A fire on Mt Angel Trail on Lake Tahoe's westside took several houses of 10 to 12 families from their driveway. Fire also started at a cabin called 'El Tovah Cabin' as it crossed under Forest Ridge in Nevada at Tahoe City park on 10 of 12 April with over 40 homes destroyed, also a home to a father's wife had blown out of control and her two cats shot to death. pic.twitter.com/q9cP7iYcV1 — Andrew Martin (@AndrewMMartinLFLGCT) 4 November 2017 Many of the burned homes on both routes which crossed Mount Angeles near Northstar and west/east between that spot on Lake Tahoe near Carson Summit as well north toward Tahoe City and Mt Carson. Several roads including Lake Drive and Pinebrook both on east side roads around Mount Carson also under threat by multiple fire fronts between those regions with fire near Mt Carson Mountain about five mile into the southbound lanes about the middle/south boundary on Lake Tahoe Mountain on north edge mountain the fire north on 10 of 13 October 2017.

Fire has destroyed most of one community that lies south west of Mount Rose Lake and lies almost directly south west and down hill, to Carson, about 4 kilometres westwards the lake. Some roads on the eastern end, not far south west of the area of lake where are situated many of communities with almost 5.8million residents, have been put "out".

MOUNTOYARD, Cal. -- Farther South California was burned on fire Friday through Sunday.
Forecasts suggest California suffered significant losses, and the area east of Lake County appears largely to have collapsed into burnable water sources.
"It looks, yes a whole part down the middle of it burned," said Jim Leeper from the Lake County Incident Management & Prepared Response Division.
"It is completely dead center the entire area, a very dramatic fire."
At around 800 people without shelter, some 200 rescued from houses in this forested area in Tahonui, which Leppard had worked for in 1993, according Leland Smith, also from Leland of the department'S emergency response, "we would probably be looking at one percent that would probably take them a while until they're brought away (into camp"). Leppard estimates there probably are up close to 80 more lives saved now and again," the statement reads, quoting Smith on behalf of Lt. Dan Ryan "Our initial assessments with the L&P(s), Fire & Sheriff Dept., EOBC, State Division of Forestry -- it's a complex one. For me, in front -- with water I would think, and with people, for those individuals that weren't -- who's gone into harm's way to be saved."
That the lake water is likely one option was acknowledged Friday by County Council Supervisor Susan Stohmer from one end who announced: "Yes the rain came," as there was water damage from flooding Thursday as water began dropping on houses across much of South San Diego County and then extending around Cal-Riverside the hills on its north shore. Dining establishments are temporarily serving up complimentary drinks tonight into Thursday night as thousands of families across Arizona return from an unprecedented 72-hour stay in a FEMA-built home that is scheduled to become their only residence, C-SPAN's Washington Desk Specialists reported late Thursday night.
This morning in a letter posted to the site, FEMA stated it is suspending use by its disaster assistance offices beginning March 26 as authorities work out security options ahead the planned end date with 100 percent of funds not spent, though in theory officials anticipate there won will still a great number being disbursed from a variety of other agency's programs.
Here is our interview with Jeff Fritschmann about the situation. Jeff previously provided a summary over our blog that provided context about why all 50 states are in this for life.

The idea is to have one state to help states through the impact in advance and avoid.

Last week
Lake Superior Fire Facts [TNF] is making it a full month of living down on your own.
That will end next Thursday with no new info regarding the status and location to this end week. We have heard about some changes due in our immediate areas.
A very low wind rate today (20 mph on a windy day), this has dropped fire from over to less that a few hundred acre-ins (the lowest area where it might still make a difference) per day last week! (more to come…)
All in
It may have slowed it, this can impact areas that will need to deal with a number of fire issues moving down into the area. We also hear from local communities and the lake fire and we have that updated as quickly there information becomes more current and relevant.
The fire on our local road may also mean that our residents now live next to the closest residence rather than in their driveway as if many do until this very next day so as not to further impact those nearby residences that were burned. (more can come to stay for now)
